We invite you to submit abstracts for the 15th Asia Pacific Travel Health Conference
Abstract Submission Guidelines:
- Abstracts may be submitted for an oral or poster presentation.
- Abstracts must be submitted in English using the online Abstract Submission Link.
- Abstract body should not exceed 350 words.
- Images and tables are not accepted or published with the abstract. Abstracts are text only.
- Please select from the topics below, the one that describes best your presentation.
- Abstract body should be structured and include headings: Background, Objective(s), Methods, Results, Conclusions
- When using abbreviations, define them at their first mention within each section
- Maximum 1 abstract per presenting author.
Submission Topics:
- Pre-travel preparation and risk assessment (e.g. travel health advice, consultations, destination-specific risks, special traveller groups)
- Vaccines and immunisation strategies (e.g. routine and travel-related vaccines, global immunisation programs)
- Gastrointestinal and foodborne illnesses (e.g. travellers diarrhoea, hepatitis A, typhoid)
- Tropical and vector-borne diseases (e.g. dengue, malaria, yellow fever)
- Altitude and wilderness medicine (e.g. altitude illness, wilderness and eco-tourism)
- Mental health and psychological wellbeing (e.g. stress, trauma, cultural adjustment)
- Non-infectious travel health risks (e.g. jet lag, injuries, venous thromboembolism)
- Health systems and access to care (e.g. medical tourism, migrant health, disaster/conflict/military settings)
- Climate Change and One Health (impact of climate on travel and health, health equity, zoonotic diseases)
Before you start the abstract submission process, please read and prepare all necessary information:
- Title of the abstract and chosen topic
- Family names and initials of all authors
- Details of affiliation of all author(s); institution, city, country
- Contact details of the presenting author (email, tel., fax)
Be sure that all changes, corrections and proofreading have been carried out before submitting.
Please note: You will be able to update and/or make changes to your submitted abstract until the submission deadline date, using your email address and password which will be provided for you upon completing your submission.
